The Natural Resource Conservation Network (NRCN), is the executing organization of EAGLE in Uganda. It is a network of professionals, utilizing their training to ensure timely investigations, prosecutions and the reporting of wildlife crime in Uganda. Their goal is to reduce incidents of wildlife poaching and to promote the conservation of wildlife. Wildlife tourism is the second highest foreign currency earner for the people of Uganda. The network will help in the building of a law enforcement network amongst those existing members of the legal, investigations and media fraternity in Uganda. NRCN will work with the Uganda Wildlife Authority, judiciary, Directorate of Public Prosecutions, police and other NGO's in their wildlife conservation initiatives. Besides working with the said partners, this network will initiate and supervise their own wildlife crime investigations, prosecutions and reporting to ensure a positive influence on conservation of wildlife in Uganda.
