Senegal - SALF

Specialised trade of lions, this operation indicating a surprising amount of felines contraband trafficked internationally.

SALF (Sénégal-Application de la Loi Faunique) was initiated by non-governmental organization, WARA, in Senegal in November 2013, following in the footsteps of its twin project, GALF, in Guinea.
SALF works closely with the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development (MEDD), the Criminal Investigations Division and the Ministry of Justice.
It is coordinated by Charlotte Houpline, the Director of WARA.
