Ivory Coast, 30 Jun 20222 traffickers arrested with 153kg of pangolin scales near the border with Liberia. They admitted to trade with Nigerians and Chinese in volumes of tonnes. The two brothers ran cross-border trade as one based in Liberia and the other across the border.

One of three arrested, a non-permanent worker in the secretariat of the State Prosecutor, has been given some of the tusks from the court evidence room to trade.
